Maps Downloader

The Maps Downloader can be found in Utilities>More >Maps Downloader.

 

Maps Downloader

This function requires management port connection (Ethernet or Wi-Fi). Please see section IP Tools for further information on how to connect via the management port.

 

1. Enter the city name in the search box.

   

   City Location

   The unit connects automatically to the database here: http://www.openstreetmap.org/. Open Street map is similar to Google maps, but the maps are open source and created by a community of cartographers that contribute and maintain data about roads worldwide.

2. Select a map from the list and tap the Download button.

   Downloaded Map

   Downloaded Maps are included if the Advance Saving function is enabled (Utilities>Settings>Global>Storage Setting) and GPS position is acquired (Utilities>Setting>More>GPS/High Precision Clock).

   

Save Results

 

• Equipped with a camera and GPS antenna, the MTTplus platform allows to create a complete report of the Wi-Fi site survey results in HTML or PDF format.

• QR code reader to document equipment bar code and serial numbers.

• Camera function to document the AP location and installation.

• GPS Coordinates to identify test location and map.
